QUINCY, ILL. -- The Adams County Health Department is provided adult and child flu immunizations on October 2 at John Wood Community College in Quincy.

Flu immunizations for adults were available at the drive-thru clinic and children were walk-in only.

Adult flu shots were $25 and children were $10. Medicare and Public Aid were also accepted at the clinic.

The health department reports that they had 500 vaccinations in total on the 2nd.

Everyone, especially pregnant women and children over six months old are encouraged to get immunized.
