QUINCY, ILL. -- The Quincy Fire Department responded to a fire alarm Thursday at the Vermont Methodist Church. When crews arrived, there was no fire.
Police discovered an open door where the alarm was pulled and found food missing from the pantry.
It didn't take long for police to find 21-year-old Cody Brown of Payson a few blocks from the scene.
He had one of the stolen food Items on him.
He was arrested for burglary and disorderly conduct.
