Quincy man tased, arrested after resisting police

QUINCY, ILL. -- Quincy police were forced to tase a man when he refused an arrest Saturday evening.

Police had been investigating 26-year-old Adam Fusselman for two outstanding arrest warrants. Fusselman was wanted in a previous burglary case as well as a separate incident of reckless driving back in September.

Saturday, when police arrived, Fusselman refused arrest, causing a struggle with officers. At that time, police officers used a taser to subdue him and take him into custody. Neither Fusselman nor any of the Officers involved were injured.

While searching Fusselman, Officer's found that he was in possession of Cannabis and a stolen motorcycle.

Fusselman was transported to the Adams County Jail where he was lodged on the above charges.
