Here's a KHQA safe Family Health Advisory: Check any ground beef you may have in your fridge or freezer.

Tyson Fresh Meats has issued a ground beef recall. The Kansas-based company says more than 131,000 pounds of the meat may be contaminated with E.coli.

The meat went to stores in 12 different states including Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri.

Here's the number to call if you have questions: (866) 328-3156. Before you do, check the label; it will have a "best before or freeze by" date of September 12, 2011.

It was sold under Kroger brand, Butcher's Brand and a generic label.
