LEE COUNTY, IA. -- A Fort Madison man was killed when his motorcycle hit the back end of some farm machinery. The accident happened about 3 miles east of West Point on County Road 103.

John Sutclliffe was killed when his motorcycle crested a hill and crashed into a slow moving pickup, hauling a cattle feeder.

Sutclleffe suffered severe head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was not wearing a helmet.
