PALMYRA, MO. -- A tip from an area resident led to the arrest of three men in Palmyra last week.

Palmyra police responded to 1100 West New Street, Lot 43 on suspicions a group of men were manufacturing methamphetamine.

Upon arrival, officers found three suspects and several items pertaining to meth.

Officers called in the NEMO Drug Task Force for assistance, who confirmed the chemicals and equipment used in meth production.

On October 4, the Marion County Prosecutor charged Shawn Gibbons of Hannibal as well as James McLeod and Albert Honeycutt of Philadelphia with attempt to manufacture a controlled substance.

Bonds were set at $100,000 cash only.
