QUINCY, ILL -- Two Quincy men are in jail for impersonating a police officer.

Investigators say shortly after two Monday morning, a victim called into 9-1-1 saying two people in a black Chevy Impala shined flashlights at him and another person, told them to stop, and said that they were police officers.

Police officers arrested 20 year-old Dane Douglas and 22 year-old Jerome Mason of Quincy for False Personation of a Peace Officer.

They should be in court to face those charges today.

False Personation of a Peace Officer is a class 4 felony.

Both suspects are in the Adams County Jail.
