Pittsfield dedicates mandated water system

PITTSFIELD, ILL. -- Pittsfield will dedicate a new water system and water treatment plant today.

The $9.3 million dollar project included 14 miles of piping as well as developing an alternate water source.

Water system improvements were mandated by the Illinois EPA.
