It's that time again for pumpkin carving.

Food experts at Serious Eats have some great tips for creating your masterpiece, including this one for what to do if your carved pumpkin starts to shrivel: give it an ice water bath.

An hour or so in a cooler or bathtub should revive it, then you can spray it with oil to bring back the moisture.
