MARSHALL, MO. -- We've talked a lot about baseball recently especially with the Cardinals' race to the World Series.
Local athletes of another kind of "field" took top honors recently.
According to the McDonough County Voice, Frank Hennenfent of Roseville won top honors at the National Cornhusking Contest held in Marshall, Missouri.
Hennenfent out-shucked 12 others to take the men's open class for the 10th time in his 26 years of competing.
