JWCC opens new public computing center

QUINCY, ILL. -- John Wood Community College will hold a ribbon cutting for the opening of a new Public Computing Center Wednesday, October 26.

The new center is located in the college library on the Quincy campus at 48th and Harrison.

JWCC received $26,000 in funds from an Eliminate the Digital Divide Program grant to purchase computers and printers for the center, which will provide free broadband computer access for the unemployed, young adults, seniors, minorities, persons with disabilities and the general public.
