ADAMS COUNTY, ILL. -- Fire destroyed a hay barn Monday evening on Highway 24 in Adams County.
About 30 firefighters from the Central Adams and Camp Point fire departments responded.
The 12 by 30 wooden shed behind the Stockyard Sale Barn was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.
Central Adams Chief Bill Philips said that although it was a big blaze, it was brought under control quickly.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
