HANNIBAL, MO. -- The City of Hannibal is considering a deer hunt at it's Hannibal Regional Airport.

According to the Hannibal Courier Post, airport advisory board members are targeting the idea to help lower the deer population there, which are often seen around the runways.

If approved, the hunt would allow only certain bow hunters who meet safety criteria to take deer from areas, inside the tree line, and nowhere near the runways.
