Monday night's Quincy City Council meeting was a brief one.
QUINCY, IL. --
Our news partner WTAD reports that the biggest thing the council addressed was the sales tax and home rule tax reports issued in August.

Mayor John Spring said that the sales tax numbers of $710, 037.62 was $59,000 higher than last year.

And the home rule tax numbers of $727, 508. 28 were $24,000 higher than last year.
