EOLIA, MO. -- An Eolia, Mo. man has been arraigned for allegedly having inappropriate contact with a nine-year-old granddaughter.
Seventy-two-year-old Joseph Perrone is charged with felony child molestation for allegedly rubbing the victim's chest with his hand.
Authorities reported two people witnessed the alleged contact during a family get-together at the Perrone house on December 26th of last year.
A Pike County Sheriff's Department investigator wrote that Perrone said he was intoxicated and that he could not recall parts of that day. The investigator also reported Perrone saying that if any touching took place, it was accidental.
