FORT MADISON, IOWA -- A Fort Madison group is looking at using a historic treasure to tell the story of it's community.
According to the Daily Democrat, the Fort Madison Partners want to develop the Cattermole Building into a Community Cultural Center.
It would hold exhibits telling the story of the city's rich hispanic, German and African american heritage.
They're holding an informational meeting this Monday, December 5 at 6p.m. at the Ivy Bake Shop in downtown Fort Madison.
