BEARDSTOWN, ILL. -- The Tri-State Santa needs your help to get Christmas under the tree for thousands of area children.

You'll recall Jack Bailey of Beardstown has been collecting new and used toys for several years now from Santa's workshop.

Last year more than three thousand needy children got a Christmas thanks to his efforts.

But he says this year the need is even greater. His list is nearing four thousand area children.

That's why he's asking anyone who can help to donate toys to his Christmas toy drive.

You can also take or send donations to Santa's Workshop, 603 E. 4th St., Beardstown, IL 62618 or call 309-338-1500.
