PALMYRA, MO. -- There are 3143 counties in the United States, and one man and his wife are out to visit every single one.

That man is John Davis and he wants to be your next President.

He and his wife hit the road in a decked out motor home, they call the 'votercade' in January, and so far, they've visited more than half of the counties.

Davis is from Grand Junction, Colorado, and is running as a Republican.

He says unless you have a lot of money or have celebrity status, it's hard to get recognition on the national level and he has not been invited to any of the debates.

So he's taking matters into his own hands and is embarking on this grassroots tour.

He says it all started two years ago when God spoke to his heart to run for President.

For more, visit Davis' website www.johndavisforpresident.org.

What do you think of lesser known candidates running for high profile offices? Would you vote for Davis in his race to the White House? Post your comments below or on our Facebook page here.
