QUINCY, ILL. -- John Wood Community College has opened up a new resource for nonprofit agencies.

The new center features two computers for online help as well as a library of printed materials.

The goal of the new center is to help nonprofit agencies secure grant funding.

It will also have resources that can help the organizations better organize themselves.

This is the first time that a philanthropy center like this has ever opened outside of Chicago.

John Wood partnered with the Center for Effective Nonprofits and the Chicago based Donors Forum to make this center a reality.
