CLAYTON, ILL. -- A Clayton, Illinois woman is dead after a one-car accident north of Clayton.

The Illinois State Police say 36-year-old Jennifer Schneider was driving on County Road 29-03 East Monday afternoon when she ran off the side off the road.

Police say Schneider over-corrected and overturned the car.

Schneider died after being ejected from the vehicle.

She was not wearing a seat belt at the time.
