The highest snowfall totals across the region ranged from 1 to 2 inches over metropolitan St. Louis and elevated sections of southeast Missouri.
The National Weather Service official reporting at Lambert Field reported a total of 1.9" of snowfall, which fell between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m.
Temperatures worked their way into the 40's for that same region with 43 for a high in St.Louis and 40 degrees here in Quincy on Tuesday.
The next chance for any "wintery" weather is at least a week away for this entire region of the Midwest.
