QUINCY, ILL. -- Five Quincy business people will be inducted into the Business Hall of Fame this month.
The Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce has announced this year's inductees.
The "class of 2012" includes:
The late Carl Merkel, president of Merkel's Incorporated.
George Spear and the late Charlotte Spear, both owners of Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.
The late John Stevenson Junior, a partner in the Stevenson-Paxton Wealth Management Group, and the late Dr. Walter Whitaker, co-founder of the Quincy Clinic, now known as Quincy Medical Group.
A luncheon honoring the inductees and their families will be held January 18th at the Ambiance.
