We've learned that 2011 was a year for records in Tri-State weather from the standpoint of precipitation in my Extreme Weather Part One, but the temperature was also a record breaker, so here is your Part Two.

June 2011 was not only the wettest in history for Quincy, it was also the 22nd warmest with an average temperature for the month of 81.9 degrees.

Then, we went into July which saw an average daily temperature of 81.7 degrees, making July 2011 the 2nd hottest on record for Quincy.

August brought us slightly cooler weather in the latter portion of the month but still ranked at the 9th hottest in history with an average daily temperature of 77.3 degrees.

After it was all said and done, the average temperature for summer 2011 was 77.4 degrees. This ranks as the 3rd warmest summer in Quincy since records were kept in 1948.

On Wednesday, we received some draught photos from a viewer, do you have any weather photos to share? Upload them to our Facebook page here or email them to Beau at news7@khqa.com!
