LEE COUNTY, IOWA -- For most of Tuesday night, the results in Lee County were nearly a mirror image of the national results with Romney, Paul and Santorum running in a virtual dead heat.

But in the end, out of the 836 votes in Lee County, Ron Paul came out the winner with 212 votes.

Rick Santorum was close behind with 200 votes and Mitt Romney closed out the top 3 with 169 votes.

The rest of the results are as follows:

Newt Gingrich: 137 votes

Rick Perry: 57 votes

Michelle Bachman: 16 votes

Jon Huntsman: 9 votes

And despite the fact that he has dropped out of the race, Herman Cain managed to find 3 supporters in Lee County .

But that was not the case as of 10 p.m. Tuesday night when the Associated Press reported that Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum were running neck and neck in the Iowa caucuses, and Texas congressman Ron Paul had fallen too far behind to catch either of them.

With all but about 10 percent of the votes counted, Romney and Santorum were separated from each other by less than 100 votes.
