HANNIBAL, MO. -- One of Hannibal's newest businesses is becoming a breakfast hotspot these days.
The Sweetest Thing Bakery and Donut Shop opened back in November, offering fresh pastries and other goodies most mornings at the corner of Highway 61 and West Ely.
Owners Amanda Wisdom and Katie Jackson make the baked goods sold here every day fresh.

They say many people are becoming regulars at the shop ... to enjoy their goodies.
But these small business owners say they wouldn't be able to do it without the help of friends and family.
Many of them volunteer to come in and help bake for free to help make this bakery dream come true.

Open until 3:30 on days of operation.
