SHELBY COUNTY, MO. -- A Shelbina man has been arraigned on sex charges involving three children.
Darren Sturgeon, 35, is accused of felony statutory sodomy and child molestation for incidents that allegedly happened in May of last year.
In a probable cause statement, Sturgeon allegedly admitted to sexually abusing two of the three purported victims. The statement says the three children brought the alleged abuse to the attention of their mother, who reported it to authorities on January 1.
