Quincy family safe following house fire

QUINCY, ILL. -- Our news partner QuincyJournal.com reports that the Quincy Fire Department responded to a fire at 1216 Spruce Wednesday afternoon.

Firefighters were breaking out windows on the home's second floor and smoke was rolling out of all of the openings.

Quincy Fire Chief Joe Henning said all family members got out safely.
