MACOMB, ILL. -- Counterfeit money is popping up in Macomb.

The Macomb police department warns residents and businesses to watch for phony one dollar bills that were used at a local business.

Eight bills were received at the Cenex on W. Jackson street in Macomb.

The bills all have the same serial number, # F05105681G, and they look and feel obviously fake.

If you have any information please contact Macomb Police at 309-837-4855.
