MONROE COUNTY, MO. -- The Hannibal Courier Post reports that two Paris, Missouri men were injured in a one-car crash Sunday morning.

Kyle D. Crow, 24, and his passenger, Jeremy K. Mikel, 23, were injured in the crash on an icy Route F at state Highway 15, north of Paris in Monroe County, Mo.

Crow had moderate injuries and was to seek his own treatment, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Mikel had serious injuries and was taken to Moberly Regional Medical in Moberly, Mo.

Officers reported Crow was driving an eastbound 2000 Ford on an icy road and skidded into a stop sign, then crossed Highway 15 and hit an embankment.

Neither occupant of the car was wearing a seat belt.
