MARION COUNTY, MO -- Here's an alert to Missouri drivers that use the North River Bridge.

Weather permitting Monday, Missouri Highway 168 west of Philadelphia will close for replacement of the bridge. That's located just east of the Shelby County line.

The construction was originally scheduled for June but could be rescheduled for earlier due to the unseasonably warm weather we've experienced.

The replacement of the 79-year-old bridge should take about 67 working days.

The new bridge will be two-feet wider and will open to traffic later in March.

For more information on this closure you can keep updated with MoDOT.
