QUINCY, ILL. -- A young lady is recovering Friday morning after being hit by a car just before eight o'clock Thursday night in Quincy.

She was taken to Blessing Hospital after being hit.

Because she is a juvenile no name will be released.

The accident happened at 28th and Broadway in traffic when the person walked out in front of a car.

The girl was ticketed for pedestrian use of the roadway.
