Clarksville Eagles Days this weekend

CLARKSVILLE, MO. -- Thousands of visitors are expected to flock to Clarksville this weekend.

The Northeast Missouri community is hosting its annual Eagle Days celebration from 9 a .m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Viewing of eagles in the wild will be available through spotting scopes at the Mississippi River. Live eagle programs also are planned every hour at the Apple Shed.

In addition, there’ll be plenty of gift shop, antique and eating opportunities. Tourist information will be available in the visitors’ center at the north edge of town.
