QUINCY, ILL. -- Here's a KHQA Safe Family Crime tip -- there has been a scam reported to law enforcement in the Quincy area.
Several businesses have reported receiving calls to advertise on banners to be placed in Quincy Blue Devil Gym or Flinn Stadium.
Be aware that Quincy Blue Devil Cheerleaders are not soliciting funds for banners.
This is a scam.
If you have received a call and provided credit card or other personal information to purchase advertising on banners, you're asked to contact the Quincy Police Department.
