Sixth Keokuk arrest in shake-and-bake meth investigation

KEOKUK, IOWA -- The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the sixth arrest as a result of a continuing methamphetamine manufacturing conspiracy investigation.

Lindsay Leeann Riddle, 26, of 1813 Bank Street in Keokuk was arrested Saturday on felony drug charges.

Riddle is charged with conspiracy to manufacture more than five grams of methamphetamine within one thousand feet of a city park and in the presence of a minor, a class B felony.

A search warrant was executed at the residence on January 26 and items indicative in the “shake and bake” method of manufacturing methamphetamine were found.  Two minors were also located in the residence.

The Keokuk Police Department, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Lee County Sheriff’s Reserve Unit,  Iowa State Patrol, Ft. Madison Prison K9 Unit and Lee County Attorney’s Office assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.
