HANNIBAL, MO. -- Slick conditions may be to blame for a tractor trailer accident that held up traffic on highway 61 Tuesday night.

The semi truck jack knifed on U.S. 61, reportedly a half-mile north of Hannibal.

Officials on the scene said the tractor trailer was making a tight -turn on Highway 61 when its back wheels slid into a ditch.

Southbound traffic was blocked for a time as crews responded to the accident.

No one was hurt.
