Eriberto Perez has been found. Suspect, William Cruz, has been arrested.

The Illinois State Police has issued an Amber Alert for an 8-year-old boy who was abducted Thursday night.

Police say Eriberto Perez was taken from a Palatine, Illinois home at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Perez is a white male, 4'10" tall and weighs 100 pounds.

He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt, red shirt with black sleeves and blue jeans.

The Illinois State Police say the child was taken by 30-year-old William Cruz who is described as being 5'11" tall and weighing 180 pounds.

Cruz has a tattoo on his right wrist and left arm.

His vehicle is a silver 2001 Chrysler 4-door with Illinois license plate P530118.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
