HANNIBAL, MO. -- A Hannibal man faces charges of assault after attempting to stab a 62 year -old man.

Police were called to a home on the 700th block of Church Ctreet after 27 year-old Jack Blanke got into a fight with another man.

During the argument, Blanke got a knife from his bedroom and tried to stab the victim.

Blanke was arrested and faces assault and armed criminal action charges.
