QUINCY, ILL. -- A Quincy burglar was caught after returning to the scene of the crime days later.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded to the report of a burglary at 4622 S. 6th Street Friday afternoon. The homeowner reported several hundred dollars in change stolen.

Later that day, the homeowner was removing valuables from the home when two suspicious males showed up at the house but left without reentering.

Both were located by Adams County deputies sometime later and questioned.

Timothy Musick, 46, confessed to having burglarized the home days before and admitted he had gone back for more.

Investigation into the second man's involvement continues.
