QUINCY, ILL. -- Driving under the influence led to a one-car crash Friday night in Quincy.

Police say Kendra Morris was driving a 1995 Chevrolet near the 1800 block of Bonansinga Drive when her car left the right side of the roadway. Morris' car hit an embankment, became airborne, struck a set of railroad tracks and traveled further down another embankment. The car eventually came to rest against some trees.

Morris sustained minor injuries and was transported to Blessing Hospital by ambulance. From there, she was arrested for driving under the influence, driving while license suspended, and improper lane usage.

Morris was released on bond pending an April 9th court date.
