Visitor brings controlled substance into jail

LEWIS COUNTY, MO. -- A 43-year-old Williamstown, Missouri woman has been arrested for allegedly trying to deliver hydrocodone to an inmate in the Lewis County jail.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish says Eileen Polak tried to deceive an alert jail staff member into delivering the controlled substance.

Polak is in the Lewis County jail on a $50,000.00 cash only bond.
