Macomb plant adds new product, new jobs

MACOMB, ILL. -- A Macomb plant expansion has added new jobs to the local economy.

NTN-Bower recently added new equipment that makes large taper bearings, used in large tractors and mining trucks.

According to the McDonough County Voice, the addition has added 16 new jobs, bringing the plant's workforce to about 860 employees. Right now the new employees are in training.

The new line of bearings will be up and running by July.
