Give Kids a Smile is a nationwide program that connects underprivileged children with dental services.

Adams County Public Health Department in partnership with volunteer dentists have provide the program to surrounding communities.

Brown County buses children to the clinic during school hours to take advantage of the much needed services, but because of recent budget cuts they are looking for alternative routes.

"This year we have taken roughly a $200,000 budget cut in our transportation revenue from the state," Brown County Superintendent Stan Adock said.

The Brown County school board is working with West Central Transit to provide transportation for the program.

This year alone, nearly thirty children from Brown County attended the event.
