QUINCY, ILL. -- Two Quincy men were arrested Thursday on drug charges at a home in the 1100 block of South 16th Street.

Donald VonHolt, 78, and Blake Goehl, 19, were taken into custody about 9:40 a.m. by members of the West Central Illinois Task Force.

Both are charged with possession of 30-500 grams of marijuana with intent to deliver. In addition to marijuana, investigators also found scales and other drug paraphernalia, according to a press release statement from the Task Force.

VonHolt was released from jail due to his advanced age. Goehl remains lodged in the Adams County Jail pending a court appearance.

The West Central Illinois Task Force assisted by the Quincy Police Department, the Adams County Sheriff's Department and the Illinois State Police District 20 participated in the execution of the search warrant.

The case remains under investigation.
