Temporary bridge closure in Fort Madison Monday

A note to travelers driving in and out of the Fort Madison area.

Monday, the toll bridge in Fort Madison will close twice throughout the day for repairs.

The bridge will close for one hour starting at 8:30 a.m. and again for an hour and a half beginning at 1 p.m.

A BNSF spokesman stressed that the closing durations could vary.
