A Quincy man accused of producing child pornography will appear before a federal judge Wednesday afternoon.

Jonathan D. Cashion, 20, of the 1100 block of Madison Street is scheduled for a 2 p.m. arraignment hearing at the federal courthouse in Springfield before U.S. District Judge Byron G. Cudmore.

Cashion is charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in the production of child pornography, distribution of child pornography and possession of images of child pornography.

The indictment alleges that he produced images on three occasions in between 2011 and 2012 in Quincy, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Quincy, Ill.

He was arrested Feb. 15 and remains jailed without bond.
