Four people were arrested Thursday – including two on drug charges – after Adams County Sheriff's deputies noticed a cracked windshield on a vehicle.

Sean S. Fowler, 22, of Quincy, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after the traffic stop near the intersection of Bonansinga Drive and Cedar Street.

The department's canine unit alerted deputies to the possibility of drugs, according to a Sheriff's Office press release.

Passenger Michael N. Randall, 18, of Quincy, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams, and for three Adams County warrants and one city warrant for an ordinance violation.

A second passenger, Sara D. Shoop received a ticket on a charge of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and was released.

A third passenger, a 17-year-old juvenile, gave deputies a false name and was taken to the Adams County Youth Home on an outstanding Adams County juvenile warrant. The juvenile is expected to be charged with obstructing justice and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.
