Fort Madison school on lockdown after reports of gun

FORT MADISON, IOWA -- Lincoln elementary school was on lockdown Tuesday while police searched the area for a man with a gun.

According the Fort Madison Daily Democrat, LeeComm officials got a report of a man holding a rifle while walking by an elementary school.

Police searched the area for anything suspicious and remained on site as children were dismissed from school for the day.

No arrests were made.
