Hannibal woman arrested for drugs after police chase

HANNIBAL, MO. -- A Hannibal woman is behind bars for drugs after a police foot chase.

It all began when 26-year-old Katie Mickels of Hannibal refused to tell police her name and then ran away.

Police caught her and then learned she was wanted on active warrants.

They also found her hiding crack cocaine.

Mickels was charged with resisting arrest, tampering with physical evidence and manufacturing a controlled substance. She also faces probation and parole violation warrants and 2 active Marion County warrants.

Mickels was released to the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold.
