Tri-State woman alive after being trapped three days in car crash

KEOSAUQUA, IOWA -- A 29-year-old Keosauqua woman is safe after spending three days trapped inside of a crashed vehicle.

The Burlington Hawkeye reports Emily Ann Borgomainerio had been reported missing since Saturday.

She was found conscious and alert Monday trapped inside of a crashed vehicle after a passerby spotted the crashed vehicle just northeast of Keosauqua.

The incident remains under investigation.
