Fort Madison sex shop seized in money laundering investigation

FORT MADISON, IOWA -- The owner of a Fort Madison sex shop faces money laundering charges after his arrest Tuesday.

Jason Allen Eaves, 40, of 3461 175th St. in Fort Madison, Iowa, is charged with money laundering and ongoing criminal conduct. If convicted he faces up to 25 years in prison.

Eaves, who owns The Pleasure Factor, was arrested in an investigation and search warrant served at a business in rural Fort Madison, the Lee County Narcotics Task Force said in a press release Wednesday.

His business was also seized as part of the investigation.

The Lee County Narcotics Task Force gave no further details of the arrest. A message left at their office Wednesday was not returned.
